"Biodiversity in Good Company"

Community committed to the world

HiPP participates as a member of the Business and Biodiversity Initiative, which originated in 2008 at the UN Conference on the Convention on Biological Diversity. “Biodiversity in Good Company” is a community of companies that defend the protection of biodiversity, in the interests of the economy and society.

They have committed, with the "Mission Statement" and a "Leadership Statement", to integrate the protection of biodiversity into the management system of their companies. With the signing of the "Declaration of Leadership", more than 40 companies around the world now meet the requirement to promote biodiversity as part of their business management system. An important contribution to fair trade was made at the 2010 UN Species Conservation Conference in Nagoya, Japan. Also, guidelines were defined for the benefits of using biological raw materials to be shared fairly between users and countries of origin.
